Thrifted {two}

The past week and a half, has been awesome, for a variety of reasons. Never do we see those things coming, and to some extent I wouldn't have it any other way.  This time of goodness has been much needed, and oh how thankful I am for the friendships I have in this season of life-- some older than others, a couple brand new, but each of them so unique and awesome.  I've prayed much of my life for friendship like that.  In addition, I've had the time recently to really dive back into my vintage shop, and boy has that felt good! I've also been working on a handmade element, and have pleasantly surprised myself with the result.

While life is far from perfect, I am so thankful for these glimpses of hope and joy that God has allowed me lately-- I think they are always there, we just have to be willing to see them.

This J.Crew shirt is one of the bunch of Goodwill finds that I'll be featuring in this Thrifted series, and it's such a great find!  Not only is it in completely crisp, never worn condition, but it was $6, friends.  Never shall you ever find me in an expensive store like J.Crew, when I can find their stuff at my local Goodwill-- and I do, often. :) I love the dainty, subtle branch detail, which adds a note of complexity to an otherwise staple color.

  1. I absolutely love the middle paragraph. life is far from perfect. But it's the little things that come to mean so much to us, and we are thankful for that alone.
