Hats and Houses

As I sit on the train and write this, I'm annoyed. I love to write but lately it feels like my creative well is a little dusty.  I was recently reflecting on a season not long ago when it overflowed, so much I just didn't know what to do with it all-- ideas and inspiration coming at me from all directions, and with it intense joy.  And I know that's the state in which my Father has created me to live, a paced but strenuous run that fills my heart and utilizes my gifts to pour out into others.

And so because that jog currently has a limp in it, I'm writing about that-- because it's all I can do, and maybe there's someone who needs to hear that they aren't alone in feeling this way.

My schedule has become more regimented lately, and structure (it seems) has pulled me out of creative ruts before-- here's to hoping that's true again.
